Kamika - It's About to Begin!

Today we can finally reveal it – our new interface Kamika will soon go live, mid-July is the time!

Our team has worked on the new interface for over a year, conducted numerous customer interviews, discussed click paths and designs, and incorporated a multitude of customer improvement suggestions that we have received over the past few years to make the interface even better for daily tasks in Digital Fundraising. It was definitely our biggest and most elaborate project to date. By the way, Kamika means “the hoped-for one” in Indian. And now the time has finally come: We are pleased to give you some insights into our new layout Kamika!

The layout has generally become more attractive and structured. You will now find an optimized navigation bar on the left in the FundraisingBox. You can minimize the menu to have more space on smaller screens. Here you can also see directly that there are some wording changes. Persons are now called Contacts – a comprehensive term to bring together individuals, companies, etc. Donations have been renamed to Transactions, Donation options to Payment methods and the Donation form to Form . The new terms are clearer and include all eventualities.

Under Configuration, you can manage extensions, create projects, or store email templates, among other things.

Let’s take a look at the User Profiles next. You can now add photos to the profiles to make a contact’s profile more personal. In the account settings, you can change details such as the address. The profile information is clearly presented in individual windows.

The search functions in the FundraisingBox have also been significantly improved. The quick search as well as the button for smart search always remain at the top, no matter which menu item you are in. In the Smart Search, you can now scroll through a list of search criteria and simply drag & drop the desired criterion into the search window.

With the various search criteria, you can then create your Smart Tag and make your daily work easier.

In addition to these changes and innovations, there are several more that we will present to you in the coming weeks. Kamika will go live in mid-July; currently, a closed testing phase is still ongoing.

We are pleased that the FundraisingBox with Kamika is receiving a fresh look and a comprehensive update, and we very much hope that “the hoped-for one” brings you just as much fun and work relief!
